Southwick Guides and Rangers enjoyed their festival themed camp at Foxlease Park. Everyone worked really hard in the heat and adapted well to the fact they couldn’t have any wood fires for cooking from Sunday evening (understandably due to the terrible forest fires in the New Forest.) The Guides and Rangers took part in so many activities including archery, nightline, kayaking, raft building, crate stacking, crafts, entertainments, rounders, abseiling , zip wire and watching the eclipse. The rangers did some volunteering to paint the archery shed which was a significant help to the camp site.
