Wiltshire Wide Sleepover
Members of Wiltshire Wide Trefoil Guild recently had a sleepover with a difference. Members requested the opportunity to sleep in a church and thanks to one of our members who is a Vicar we were able to have the opportunity. We gathered at the Parish church in Enford and once settled completed an Enford village quiz, taking time to walk around this peaceful village in the beautiful Avon valley. We then attended a local fete, which was raising money for the STARS appeal at Salisbury Hospital. A number of tombola and raffle prizes were won.
We had a BBQ in the lovely evening sunshine and then after cocoa and a bedtime story settled down for the night. After a continental breakfast we then did a spot of service. We sweeper the church through and also tackled the numerous cobwebs which collect in such an old building. We then visited to local pub for Sunday lunch. thanks to Gale for making this possible.
