Mid Wilts Activities

2011 was a typical year for us. We had helped sponsor Guides on various outdoor activies and they returned to tell us about sailing on Tall Ships and going to the Guide Jamboree in Canada. Twice we went to the theatre, to see “The Hot Mikado” at the Wharf Theatre and “Crazy for You” at Dauntsey’s. One of our speakers very entertainingly enlightened us about the history of bells. We tried our hand at the children’s Devizes heritage trail, followed by fish and chips, shared in a summer barbecue, had a poems and puds evening, held monthly tea and chats in each others’ houses, supported various Quiz nights, camped with others at Berwick, helped out at WoSoG, helped out at various Guide meetings, fetes etc.
