Region Roadshows 2012
Following the success of the Region Roadshows in 2010/2011, we have a new programme of Roadshows for the first half of 2012. We are visiting some very exciting visitor attractions across the Region – Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Durrell Wildlife Park in Jersey, Isle of Wight Zoo, Longleat Adventure Park and Cornwall's Crealy Great Adventure Park.
The Roadshows are aimed at girl members in our Region and their parents/carers, and we would like to extend an invitation to the girls to bring along a friend who is not currently a member of Girlguiding. The Roadshows will include breakfast or brunch, a short presentation by the Chief Commissioner and an introductory talk by someone from the venue. Members and their guests will then be free to enjoy the amenities on offer.
Places at the Roadshows are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We anticipate there will be a lot of interest so if you want to be sure of attending, you will need to book early. For those of you who have already booked for the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Durrell Wildlife Park in Jersey, tickets will be sent out in the first week of January with confirmation of the time of the presentation. If you are hoping to attend these Roadshows but haven't yet booked, you really do need to without further delay!

Information and Consent for Event/Activity Form
Parental permission is required for adventurous activities and for activities that are undertaken out of the usual meeting times and away from the meeting place. Leaders must not make their own forms; it would be difficult for Girlguiding UK to support you if an accident or incident should occur and the official forms were not being used.
